Featured in the new Poppunt Mag 66

The people from Poppunt and Fuzz wrote a short story about my mix submission I did for them. To be honost, this is the first time my name is in a magazine so I’m pretty honored for this.
Thank you all for making these things happen! See you soon on stage!

This mag contains a lot info about Peter Decuypere, founding father of the I LOVE TECHNO events in Belgium. They talk about his book “We love events” and what to do with it.
A great interview with Raving George gave me the guts to keep on doing what I’m trying to do.

Five techno orientated intro tracks

5introtracks1We all search new tracks every week or month, and sometimes that search can be a little bit dissapointing. Last week I had my jump into the jungle on beatport, and discovered a couple nice intro tracks, and peak hour techno tracks as well. Have a great time when you check out this collection. All selected with one idea in mind, techno.

Here we go!

Oli Furness delivers us a breakbeat orientated track, and I think the title Jungle Book was a great choice!

Big up to spires for this one. very energetic breaks and four to the floor beats. Calm inspiring start for a set with a twisted groove in it.

With it’s repetitive pattern from the synth this killer is easy to play with when you take over from another DJ or Live set. No big intros needed. Just a steady beat to get things going.

The same as the previous one… 🙂

Every played a techno set on a sunny field with a bit of air rushing trough your hair? Well I think this is a nice opener for such an occasion. Adapted to the sun.

Everybody comes up with their own opener tracks, and some are very interesting as we all want to catch the audience from the first beats.

Dark Bouncer on the Red bull Elektropedia Chart

11150777_10153021149738002_4694049723252862363_nI’m very happy to announce that Red Bull Elektropedia shared my track on their monthly “As heard in Belgium” chart. I contacted them a while ago about a track I launched at bunk3r r3cords and they shared that track right away together with a very kind message in my inbox. The people at Elektropedia are all very polite and they know what they are doing as well. Try it out for yourself in case you are a Belgian producer.

Here’s the full playlist, have fun!

If you want to showcase some of your music then don’t hesitate, post a link in the comment section.

Dark Bouncer, a new Techno preview is out!

Lot’s of things are going on in the techno scene in Belgium. Last weekend you had XOBE, where a dozen international techno artists performed from noon till night and beyond. We’ve been there and thought it was good! Got back home with lots of inspiration and went straight to my laptop and opened up Ableton Live.
This is the result of the first festival I’ve been to. I present to you, Dark Bouncer!

More new stuff will be added soon, but first I need to work and practice a bit more with my Live Set. First gig will be on the 11th of June: 2 Years Unleach

See you soon for more info!

Raving George dropped Blackout at StuBru Playground

Screen Shot 2015-05-20 at 22.08.48Studio Brussel Playground resident Raving George dropped one of my tracks on a playground set on the 16th of may.
The track she played is one I recently shared as a free techno EP. You can find more info about that on this page.

This young dj-talent is only 22 years young, but already crowned the high priestess of Belgian dancehalls. She hypnotizes people with her mesmerizing mix of techno related music and makes it impossible for anyone to stand still. She will take you by the hand into her domain of beats, synths and strange sounds and she’ll only let you go when she wants you to go completely crazy to one of her tracks.
